Actually I am looking at both. Running both Linux and Windows VPS in the same box.

Give us some more information... What will you be running on the servers? If it is just for hosting, I would suggest container-based virtualisation such as Virtuozzo for both Linux and Windows.

between Openvz and Xen, I would prefer Xen. You may also want to consider VM ESXi. you don't need a host OS.

You can't run OpenVZ and Xen on the same node, however if you need Windows I would suggest having a Xen node for Linux & Windows.

Hi, I would like to find out, has anyone tried Oracle VirtualBox which previously was Sun's? How stable would it be?

No, I do not about the Oracle VirtualBox.

Is it meant for own server usage and only for testing purposes?

I try before on VMWare, I find it very good. Last time, I run two Windows 2008 server at the same time and it involved a lot of configuration amendment that I always need to revert back to the original setting. With VMWare, it is a very smooth in restoring the previous session.

Ya I've heard a lot about VMWare, just wondering if this is the next thing that can be used in the market as I haven't heard much about it in local market...
