Hi crystal,

you can also consider eNets if your website is targetted at SG.

Worldpay has a setup fee and also annual fee of a few hundred SGD. They also have a per sale commission fee if I'm not wrong. You can check the exact amount at their website.

As for paypal, there's no annual fee. There's only a per sale commission fee of a couple percent. Again check their website for the exact amount.

An alternative to these 2 is 2Checkout.

One thing about Paypal and 2Checkout is that they do not offer Singapore dollar as their primary currency. As such, it might not be as convenient for him.

If given the choice between Worldpay and enets, I will choose enets because of the wide range of services given (i.e credit card, nets, direct debit, etc). Price for both are approximately the same.

errr, that is not true, enets charged for the credit card, direct debit and etc, ie, do don't just pay one price for all, credit card one fee, direct debit another fee... and they give you only 1 currency, if you need another currency, they will charge you which you need to pay annually.......

seriously, it all depend on the currency that you want....... if you are a business, you can open US dollar account and get all the US dollars in but if you are individual, then your only option is SG cause individual not allow to open other currency....

for me, I will go with worldpay........ after much research, they are my my payment gateway partner now, cause they are upfront on their prices........ I like people who are upfront with their price rather than those who hide their prices don't know where.

I do agree that enets charge by modules -e.g. credit/debit, direct debit, Virtual account etc. However, this breakup will also mean that you won't pay anything extra.

But I think Worldpay and enets are in the same category. I have tried both customer service and quite satisfied with the response.

Hope this helps to add-on to my previous post

Well, too had Worldpay doesn't pay out to Malaysia.
I would highly recommend them.

I just applied for an account just last week, actually.

You should check with graphcard and paysystem, they supports Malaysia. Their fees are also reasonable.

tanx etech for the recommendations.
correct me if i am wrong.

graphcard looks something like a prepaid account which can be used to buy things.
means ppl have to be a member of graphcard before can purchase stuffs from my site.
(not sure if i read it rite)

Paysystem, designed to meet the specific needs of Internet and mail/telephone order merchants. Available for U.S. and European-based businesses.......malaysian cant...T_T

I am still trying to figure out..wat is GBP tat worldpay told me....

one thing i hate worldpay..their customer service always give me unrelated answers..

Stated very clearly. THE TOTAL AMMOUNT TO PAY IN SGD OR RM...
they give me GBP.....

go with a good company man, don't go with company that are small when it comes to payment thing.... I've heard of people losing their money because the payment gateway company lost their data....... this one, i seriously advise you to consider and reconsider...... and try not to save a few bucks for such thing.......

and your case, it is a sign, I guess God want to protect you ah

Ultimately we are down to 3 key choices:
1. eNETS - (required setup, annual fee, transaction fee and maybe even security deposit)
2. WorldPay - (required setup, annual fee, transaction fee, remittance fee and sometimes security deposit too)
3. Paypal - (transaction and remittance fee)

Another one to consider. Giro-on-demand offered by Vpost

GBP is British Bound.

you can contact worldpay local partner company, and you ask for you discount from them.
last time, one company quote me(they also use worldpay and they can sell worldpay payment gateway as well), free setup fee, the annual fee is also lower than normal one.

There are various modes of payment like Paypal, MoneyBookers, Google Checkout our of which Paypal is the fastest mode of Online transactions when compared to others. Its also very safe and secure payment transaction gateway. So if you transfer some amount from your account to other, the payment will be received very fast receiving end, if you choose as Paypal as your payment transfer gateway.
